Local Pulse
This project originally stemmed from the findings of the Talk2Me research, NMS completed in 2006. In encouraging advertisers to harness the power of regional press but avoid the perils, we appreciated the need to provide local knowledge.
But there is much more than can be learned by taking a microscope to the regions. IN 2007, NMS began an ongoing project to collect and mine information about the communities in our footprint by asking our colleagues around the country to complete a survey.
We see the results of this project having multiple extensions all designed with comms planner in mind. This includes focus groups, and bespoke surveys through the panel that has been established as a result of the project.
